Expression by Genomic Region
This visualization enables one to view gene expression organized by genomic region. Specifically, average gene expression is shown along chromosomes and stratified by cell groups (or other labels provided by study creators). A live example of this demonstration ideogram can be found here.
In this demonstration ideogram, the average gene expression is shown by genes ordered by genomic region (chromosomes shown at the bottom of the plot). In this picture, low average expression is shown in blue, and high average expression is shown in red. Each row of expression represents cell groups by labels (uploaded by the authors). Different groupings of cells, show expression patterns that point to potential gains or losses of genomic regions. In this instance, the visualization is built by leveraging outputs of inferCNV, read more learn more about the method here.
