Manage your profile preferences for things like session length and email notifications
About session length
The session length is how long you can remain logged into the Single Cell Portal before you are prompted to re-authenticate. If you are on a shared machine it's recommended that you adjust the length to be 15minutes. If you are using the Portal on your own machine you can keep the length to 24hours. The default is 24hours.
About email notifications
Single Cell Portal sends e-mail notifications for changes made by others to all studies that are accessible to you. Email notifications are on by default but can be configured on a per-study basis. Delivery of Single Cell Portal administrative emails can also be configured.
Emails are also sent by Terra when access permissions are changed for Terra workspaces that are accessible to you. Terra email notifications are managed through the Terra user interface.
